Linen tunic with embroidery from Oseberg, Viking, early medieval

Decorated Viking tunic made of dark blue linen fabric (100%). Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges at the sides. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Cuffs and ower edge decorated with red linen. The embroideries were with linen threads, sized 8 cm x 18 cm. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. The motif of embroidery comes from detail from a sled pole from Oseberg. 

Size: length of tunic 98 cm / 38,58 in, width 58 cm x 2 / 22,83 in x 2, length of sleeves 61 cm / 24,02 in, width of sleeves 14 cm / 5,51 in, height of wedges 51 cm / 20,08 in. Tunic should be washed in 30C.
