Brown, plant dyed tunic with brocaded silk, Viking, early medieval

Tunic made of woolen fabric (100%) in brown color. Fabric was plan dyed with skin from walnuts. Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. The neck and cuffs of tunic are bordered with red silk, dated VI-VII century. 

Fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. Tunic should be hand washing. Tunic should be hand wash in 30C.

Size: length of tunic 105 cm, width 66 cm x 2, length of sleeves 61 cm, width of sleeves 16 cm, height of wedges 55 cm.
