Decorated Viking tunic made of purple linen fabric (100%). Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. Round neck line with split. Similar pattern were used in both the Skjoldehamn and Kragelund tunics, they are characteristic for early medieval tunics. Inside stitch are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand with linen threads. Fabric has been washed before sewing.  On neck line and on cuffs  hand made embroideries made with silk threads, sized 8 cm x 22 cm, 5 cm x 17 cm. Motif of embroidery come from silver cup, Jellinge, Denmark. 

Size: length of tunic 106 cm, width 60 cm, length of sleeves 61 cm, width of sleeves 14 cm, height of wedges 47 cm, split 9 cm.
