Decorated Viking dress made of light orange linen fabric (100%). Simple geometric cut based on a T shape, with small squares under in the armpit. The sleeves narrow towards the wrist. The dress has two wedges; one at each side. The cuffs are bordered with olive green linen, 100%. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. In front of the dress is large hand made embroiderie, made with linen threads sized 17 cm x 12 cm. The motif of embroidery comes from detail Vallstenraunm,Gotland. Dress should be hand washed in 30 C.

This type of dress was probably worn by women as a basic element of their attire; lightweight, comfortable, it constituted what was known as an under-dress. An embellished dress would go well as a richer element of pre- Viking era costume.

Size L: length of dress 142 cm, width under the armpit 52 cm x 2, width in belt 52 cm x 2, width in hips 55 cm x2, length of sleeves 60 cm, width of sleeves 14 cm, height of wedges 103 cm. Size of dress is around 40-42.
