Light green woolen Viking dress - herring bone

Beautiful dress, made of 100% woolen fabric in a herring bone pattern, medium thickness. Soft wool, pleasant to the skin. Simple geometric cut based on a T shape, with a light undercut in the armpit. The cut of dress is based on found from viking settlement Haithabu (Hedeby). The sleeves narrow towards the wrist. The dress has two wedges; one at each side. Every visible stitch is hand made with a linen thread, inside stitches are machine. Half circle undercut. Wool was washed before sewing. The dress is the basis of a Viking-era woman's outfit. Size S: length of dress 142 cm, width under the armpit 48 cm x 2, width in belt 45 cm x 2,width in hips 52 cm, length of sleeves 61 cm, width of sleeves 13 cm. Size M: length of dress 138 cm, width under the armpit 50 cm x 2, width in belt 44 cm x 2,width in hips 53 cm, length of sleeves 61 cm, width of sleeves 13 cm. Size of dress is similar for clothes size 38/40. Size L: length of dress 138 cm, width under the armpit 52 cm x 2, width in belt 47 cm x 2,width in hips 50 cm, length of sleeves 61 cm, width of sleeves 13 cm. Size of dress is similar for clothes size 40/42. Size XL: length of dress 142 cm, width under the armpit 54 cm x 2, width in belt 49 cm x 2,width in hips 57 cm, length of sleeves 61 cm, width of sleeves 14 cm.
