Decorated Viking tunic made of olive green, 96 % woolen fabric in a herringbone pattern. Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. Fabric has been washed before sewing. On cuffs and lower edge wool in honey color. The embroideries were made with woolen threads, sized 9 cm x 18 cm on the sleeves, 16 cm x 21 cm in front. The motif of embroidery comes from sledge pole, Oseberg. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand.
