Kaftan made from green wool (96 %). Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. Front of caftan is decorated with stamp printed wool. Stamp printed silk was made with oli paint. The pattern of stamp comes from Czernigov region, Levinki village 10cent. The edges of the coat are bordered with dark brown wool. Fabric and silk has been washed before sewing. Inside stitches machine, every visible stitches are made by hand. Printings should be ironed trough withe linen. Closin with bronze buttos.
Size: length of tunic 105 cm, width under arms 65 cm x2, length of sleeves 59 cm, height of wedges 54 cm, width of sleeves 17 cm.
