Viking cape

Hand-woven cape made of 100% wool in a diamond pattern. Wool in white and natural gray, bordered around with forest green wool. Rectangular shape 140 cm x 214 cm. This kind of capes are known from iconography in Viking period. These types of Viking cloaks were thrown over the shoulder and fastened with a brooch or pin. This is indicated by the locations of brooches in Viking graves.
Wool was washed before sewing, and we interpret Viking garb on this basis.
