Lady coat made of red wool (94%). The cut of the coat is based on a find from Haithabu (Hedeby).
The cut is a geometrical one based on a T-shape, with a small undercut in the armpits. The coat has two wedges, one on each side. The length reaches to the calf. The hem of the neck, cuffs and lower edges of the coat have been bordered with dark blue linen. On cuffs are embroidery made with linen thread. Motif of embroidery comes from Mammen, sided: 6 cm x 27 cm. The closing of coat with seven bronze buttons. Wool has been washed before sewing.
Size: length of coat 141 cm, width under the armpit 53 cm x 2, width in belt 48 cm x 2, width in hips 58 cm x2, length of sleeves 66 cm, width of sleeves 15 cm. Size of dress is similar for clothes size 38-40.
