Decorated Viking tunic made of light blue 100% linen fabric. Fabric has been washed before sewing. Tunic should be hand washed in 30 C. Shape based on a find from Birka (Sweden), 8th-9th cent. Made of two rectangles and with square-shaped wedges under the armpits and wedges on the sides. Round neckline. Similar patterns were used in both the Skjoldehamn and Kragelund tunics, they are characteristic for early medieval tunics. Inside stitches are machine, every visible stitches are made by hand with linen threads. In front of the tunic and on cuffs are hand made embroideries, made with linen threads, sized 4 cm x 27 cm. The embroidery’s motif is in Mammen style, found on horse collar. Sleeves and lower edge are decorated with blue silk (75%).
